I'm Miranda
Every dog is different.
Some need more confidence, some need clearer boundaries, some need help learning how to regulate themselves in an overwhelming world, some just need their owner to have a better understanding of what they're seeing.
My job is to figure out what your dog needs and give you a practical way forward.
I believe better behavior starts by understanding the dog in front of you

I don't believe in a one size fits all approach to dog behavior.
I look at the whole picture: you dog's temperament, behavior, environment, history, and your goals for the life you want to share together.
From everyday manners and puppy development to reactivity, anxiety, aggression, and other challenging behaviors, I help dogs become more confident, capable, and reliable.
Behavior is communication.
When a dog is barking, lunging, shutting down, overreacting, or unable to settle, there's more going on than simply "bad behavior".
We work to understand what's driving the behavior while giving the dog the structure, skills, and clarity they need to make better choices.
That means building:
Clarity: so your dog understands what is expected.
Confidence: so they can handle more of the world around them.
Connection: so you and your dog can communicate effectively.

My Approach
I believe dogs deserve both understanding and guidance.
Training should be fair, purposeful, and tailored to the individual dog.
Sometimes this means teaching a new skill, changing the environment, building confidence, or having difficult conversations about what the dog actually needs to succeed.
I do not limit myself in the way I communicate with dogs. This means training can involve food/toy rewards, play, slip lead, prong, & e-collar. Dogs have multiple ways they learn and by encompassing all quadrants, communication is most clear.
If you have a high drive dog, a complex breed, or a dog that has been failed by someone else - you're in the right place.
